Overview

This document records an anomalous event involving L.E.I-841 during the early stages of German occupation in Paris.
The event later became known internally as The Swiss Interpolation, due to its indirect influence on diplomatic neutrality and conceptual non-alignment.

Unlike traditional combat-oriented incidents, this event involved subtle manipulation of procedural logic, social systems, and cognitive expectations.

Log 841-A

Date: July 6th, 1940
Time: 10:30 AM
Location: Igor’s Barbershop, Paris

Hair fell to the tiled floor in slow, regular intervals.
Each cut followed a predictable rhythm — a process still functioning despite the surrounding collapse.

L.E.I-841 sat upright, observing his own reflection.

The reflection was acceptable.

That was intentional.

The barber’s scissors moved carefully. Snip. Pause. Adjust.

L.E.I-841 spoke quietly.

“Processes are stable today. This is… very good.”

The barber laughed nervously.

“In times like these, monsieur, routine is all we have.”

Two associates stood nearby, monitoring the street through the window. Military vehicles passed at irregular intervals. Occupation forces favored visible dominance over efficiency.

L.E.I-841 tilted his head slightly.

“They display power incorrectly. Wasteful interpolation.”

Incident Description

At approximately 10:47 AM, L.E.I-841 demonstrated an unintentional low-level activation of his ability.

No physical anomaly occurred.

Instead, witnesses reported:

  • A temporary delay in military patrol routing decisions
  • Civilian hesitation loops at checkpoints
  • Minor bureaucratic contradictions in occupation documentation

These effects lasted between 4 and 11 minutes.

No direct cause was detected.

Analysis

Researchers later concluded that L.E.I-841 did not alter reality directly.

He altered expectations of process.

By observing systems with sufficient awareness, L.E.I-841 appears capable of destabilizing operations that rely on assumed logical continuity.

In this case:

  • Military authority relied on intimidation rather than structure
  • Civil systems attempted to function normally
  • The overlap created a vulnerable interpolative gap

L.E.I-841 occupied that gap passively.

Aftermath

By nightfall, German patrol schedules in the district were quietly revised.
No record exists explaining why.

Local resistance activity increased by 12% over the following two weeks.

L.E.I-841 departed Paris shortly after, leaving no physical trace of involvement.
